Our cooperation models

Different customers require different approaches. Whether you’re interested in short-term consulting, end-to-end software development, or adding a few key specialists to your team, our aim is to build a partnership that benefits your business and users.

Trusted by

IT consulting

Hire MindK's consultants to diagnose problems across technology and business processes, before you get a detailed roadmap of fixes. This is a short, fixed-scope project billed against a defined deliverable, so you know the cost right away. We analyze what you have, present the findings along with the proposed roadmap. From there, you decide the next step (including doing nothing at all). The report is yours either way.

Product development

You provide the big picture, set priorities, approve direction, participate in Sprint planning, and review working increments. Our role is everything else. We run discovery, provide the necessary skills and technical knowledge, handle the project management, and carry the delivery risk.  This model supports both fixed-price and time-and-materials billing.

Managed teams & services

Work with a team managed by MindK, or add Senior-level specialists шn a fraction of the time it takes to hire them on the market. This model fits companies that already have technical leadership and a specific gap to fill. You manage the workload, the scope, and the daily direction. MindK supplies our in-house engineers and vouches for their work. You can cancel, scale up, or switch specialists on short notice. The engagement is billed per person for specialists; monthly for dedicated teams.

Agentic engineering: what stays the same across all cooperation models

We use AI as a force multiplier across every engagement. Yet, human judgement and expertise still decide whether you overtake competitors or spread chaos at agentic speeds.

Senior engineers stay accountable for AI

AI accelerates the work in every model, but a senior engineer signs off on what merges. Every change clears the same quality gates and review process whether a person or an agent wrote it. We do not vibe code, regardless of which model you pick.

You own the IP and everything we build

The code, the data, AI models, and the architecture are yours. That ownership is written into the agreement. There is no license-only clause that would keep ownership with us or let us reuse your software elsewhere. Everything we deliver, your team can run and extend on its own.

Pricing and scope are transparent before you commit

You see the rates and the events that would trigger a re-estimate before the work starts, set out in the SLA up front. It begins with a free, non-binding consultation, so the first conversation costs you nothing.

SLA defines what triggers a re-estimate

The SLA states the rates and what is included before the work begins, so the cost of environments, integrations, and the like is not a surprise mid-project. It also defines what triggers a re-estimate when scope changes, who approves it, and how long that takes.

Compliance and security handled from day one

For regulated work, we sign a BAA before any protected data is involved. Engineers work on de-identified or sandboxed data wherever the task allows, so live regulated data is touched only when it has to be.

Start in one model, move to another without re-onboarding

Many clients begin with an audit, move to a build, then keep a team on for support. When the shape of the engagement changes, the same team carries the context forward. You do not re-onboard a new vendor or lose momentum to hand-off.

If we part ways, you keep everything

The code already sits in your repositories. The infrastructure is defined as code in your accounts, and the API documentation stays current alongside it. Offboarding is a clean handover of access and a walkthrough of the system.

    FAQ

    • Do we own the IP?

Yes, fully. You own the code, the data, and the architecture we build for you. There is no MindK license to renew, no proprietary runtime you’re locked into, and nothing that stops your own team from maintaining or extending the work after we hand it over. We build on standard, documented tooling for exactly this reason.

    • Do we have to commit to the whole product lifecycle?

No. Engage in one model only if that’s what your business needs. You expand to others when it serves the business, not before.

    • Can we switch models partway through?

Yes. Movement between models is organic, and the same team carries the context forward. You don’t re-onboard a new vendor or lose momentum when the shape of the engagement changes.

    • Can we get just an audit, without committing to a full re-engineering?

Yes. You receive an audit report and a roadmap. You decide what happens next, including whether to implement, when, with whom, or not at all.

    • Do you sign a BAA, and how is PHI handled in development?

Yes. MindK signs a Business Associate Agreement before any engagement that involves PHI. In development we work against de-identified data wherever the work allows it, so engineers rarely need to touch live PHI at all. Where production access is genuinely required, it runs under least-privilege, logged access rather than open credentials.

    • How does AI lower cost compared with other vendors offering the same services?

Our framework, production-tested components, and agentic engineering cut delivery time and long-term maintenance, not quality. Senior engineers stay in control while AI amplifies their judgment, so you get more delivered per sprint and fewer defects from a team that thinks product-wise.

    • What if custom development isn't the right call for our situation?

We’ll tell you. If an MVP, a ready-made solution, or a hypothesis test makes more sense than custom development, we say so. Discovery is where we work that decision out with you, because we optimize for your business value rather than our hours.

    • Will our data or our patients' PHI be used to train AI models?

No. Your data is not used to train MindK’s models, and it is not used to train the models of the AI providers we build on. We use enterprise API terms that contractually exclude your data from provider training and default to zero data retention, so prompts and outputs aren’t stored on the provider side beyond the request. Where PHI is involved, this is covered by a BAA with both you and the provider.

    • What happens to the code, environments, and knowledge if we part ways?

You keep everything. The code is already in your repositories, the infrastructure is defined as code in your accounts, documentation is generated alongside the code in OpenAPI/Swagger. We transfer access, walk your team through the architecture and the agent configurations, and leave you able to run and extend the system without us.
